In order to make calls with CLINQ, CLINQ requires access to your Mac's microphone. For security reasons, MacOS disables access to the microphone for all apps by default.

CLINQ therefore makes an access request for the microphone during the initial setup. If you have granted access, then you can already use CLINQ. However, if access is denied during the initial setup, calls in CLINQ will not be possible. Granting access after the fact thankfully only requires a quick adjustment in your Mac's system preferences.

  • Open Settings-> Security & Privacy on your Mac.
  • Select Microphone from the list.
  • Check the box for CLINQ to allow access.

That's it - now you can get calling!
