When can I create call notes?
You can create call notes in two ways:
- Directly after a call
- Afterwards (to a later time), via the call list
How can I create call notes?
After a phone call:
- On having hung up after a call, an "Add note" button will be displayed for 10 seconds.
- Click on it to open up a window in which you can then write your notes.
- Click on the "Done" button to close the window and save the note.
- Click on "Close" to return to the normal app view
Afterwards (to a later time):
- Open the app and navigate to the call list
- Select the desired call where you wish to add notes
- Click on "Add note" at the bottom of the call details
- A window will now open in which you can write your notes.
- Click the "Done" button to close the window and the note will be saved. You will now see the call details again
Note: Depending on the functionality of the CRM, call notes cannot be subsequently edited there. Editing the call notes in the app is then only synchronized to the other devices of the CLINQ account, but not to the CRM.
Where are my call notes saved?
The notes are saved in the CLINQ backend. This synchronizes the notes between your devices and makes them available on all devices
If you have a CRM connected that supports call notes, they will also be saved there. You can choose where your notes are saved in the CRM.
How do I select the storage location in CRM?
- Above the "Add note" field, you will see a bar with the current CRM storage locations
- Click on the + to select the storage locations
- All elements to which the contact is linked in the CRM are available. These can be the following, for example:
- Leads
- Deals
- Opportunities
- Companies
